After avoiding dealerships with my 6.0 powerstroke for so many years I knew I would eventually come across a situation where I would have to get rid of this truck if I couldn't find a good mechanic. Searching for diesel mechanics near me with good reviews I came across J & D. Just get it towed over and I'll take care of it. Next morning it was diagnosed and repaired. I like an old school business man who still runs a business with knowledge and integrity to support a fishing habit. I can relate to that one.

I have to say, Jeff is a very nice and knowledgeable man! What a super clean and well equipped and organized shop! I Googled F-250 Super Duty front end repairs and J&D came up. I was impressed by the reviews. I called, no answer, however Jeff called me back within 10 minutes and apologized for not answering. I explained my issues and he said to bring the truck by later in the day. I went by and he put it on the lift and found my steering problems. He gave me a quote and I accepted. I'll be taking the truck back in the morning, and he stated that he'd have it back the same day! I'll update my review once I get the truck back, however, I just know everything will be just fine in the end...Customer service just doesn't get any better than that!
Update: What a fantastic experience! I had my truck back mid-afternoon and it's never driven better after replacing the wheel hub, sway bar links and bushings, and the pinion seal. They even lubed the front suspension, checked my engine, and tire pressure after their maintenance. A new customer here!

I took my 2015 F450 to them last week for a problem I have been having for a while check engine light was on. It was sending your code for camshaft positioning sensor. I am a mechanic myself. I changed the center twice, but did not fix the problem I took it to Jd Diesel, and they were able to find out what the problem was a broken wire at the connector for the sensor replaced pigtail and found a faulty vacuum pump while they were at it and repaired that also only had not my truck for two days. I was very happy about that. I was also very happy about the price. It was very fair being a mechanic myself. I know what it takes to do that job. I wouldn’t take my truck anywhere else to have it worked on but There

Not too many honest and knowledgeable mechanics out there like these guys. I called during the holidays and got a call back within the next 5hrs. Brought my truck in with rear main leaking, evap gone, breaks filters, ect. These guys had me out the door in a matter 3 days and not to mention - all extremely reasonable pricing.
